Dr Rory M. Hadden is the Rushbrook Senior Lecturer in Fire Investigation at the University of Edinburgh. His major research focus is on assessing the flammability and burning of solid fuels. His work covers laboratory investigations of the processes of pyrolysis, ignition, and burning coupled with large-scale field experimentation to characterise the phenomena of fire spread.
